YSL Y Live (EdT Intense)

Easy for everyday use, though it becomes quiet after a few hours.

A lot of the Y line is just a little too sweet for me. I'm mid 30s, and this is just amazing, and super versatile

The ginger and citrus opening is classically appealing, and the juniper and orange blossom come through to give aromatic depth without heaviness. The dry down is warm yet well balanced with cedar. Easy dumb reach for me

This fragrance has a fresh, cool and icy top note mixed with tropical fruity notes and makes for a long lasting and unique smell

It smells youthful and clean, but the performance is only moderate and the drydown lacks depth. Good, not memorable.

The problem is that everything feels thin and short-lived. It lacks both the crispness of a fresh scent and the depth of an evening fragrance.

I can see why this one is discontinued. not different enough from the original DNA to justify if you already own a couple from the line. but maybe it will grow on me
